Description
A child looks on with glee as his "Muscular Heroes of the Cosmos" Toys transform from inanimate objects to real, actionable beings and beat up his father. Signed upper right, Gahan Wilson
The present work is published on page 115 in the November 1989 issue of Playboy with the caption: "I'm sure you want little Jimmy to have a complete set of 'Muscular Heroes of the Cosmos,' now, don't you, Mr. Bennett?" The work also appears on page 533 of Gahan Wilson: 50 Years of Playboy Cartoons by Gahan Wilson (Fantagraphics Books, 2010).
