This elegant Mid Century Modern tessellated screen was realized in France, circa 1950. Each panel features six square tessellated pieces consisting of four adjoined beveled triangular pieces that create an x-form detail in the center of each. The panels attach to hand rubbed walnut and are adjoined with nickeled fittings. With its beautiful quality of construction and clean modernist lines, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from traditional to contemporary. It is in excellent vintage condition. This piece was from the collection of Patricia Fields ( Famous stylist who dressed everyone on Sex In The City.)
