Early Mid Century Cabinet, Dry Bar, Credenza, Bed Side Cabinet, Night Stand. This beautiful 1950's American Mid Century Cabinet is a very useable size and configuration. Made of Walnut by American of Martinsville. This piece is of the early period 1950's a nice example that shows a bold yet simple modernist design. Protruding round door pulls that are highlighted backed with a larger round protruding disc. Protruding inset elongated oval handles also highlighted on the bottom drawer are the reverse of the protruding pulls on the cabinet doors. Both the pulls and the inset handles are accented in a lighter brown color. The cabinet interior is tall having no original shelf but if needed a shelf could be added. The front legs have been inset from the corners adding a nice detail. A large tall interior works great for all kinds of storage and is great for use as a dry bar offering the height needed for different bottle sizes. The lower drawer is very deep providing good storage also. This is a wonderful design that transitions from deco into a more modern aesthetic. The cabinet is in very good restored condition. Excellent size can fit any where and has a fantastic visual presence.
