'STELLAR LOVE', Cast concrete cabinet

Our brand new cabinet by concrete master Buxbaum. The corpus is cast in one piece, with a special technique to make the planes hollow thus reducing the weight drastically. Ceramic white spheres feature all around the piece and create a panorama that gives the object a dream-like appeal, a landscape reminiscent of outer space, planets, stars, the moon.

Buxbaum integrates sculpture in the fields of design and furniture. His preferred material is concrete where he constantly challenges its qualities and limitation to staggering results. His body of work is characterized by a dialogue between seemingly disparate elements: the restrained and timeless hardness of concrete meet the fragile vivacity and tenderness of plant specimens. There is a technical sophistication inherent in his work, which has its own melody and adds a new lightness and aesthetic to the gravity of the material.

PLEASE NOTE: All pieces are made to order, due to the craftsmanship each would be unique. Different color schemes possible, please enquire.
