Hans-Agne Jakobsson, a renowned Swedish lighting designer, became a pivotal figure in mid-20th-century Scandinavian design. Wall lamps are also known as sconces, a wall-mounted lighting fixture, traditionally used to hold candles or torches. With an elongated lower half and a beautiful cylindrical glass shade, this piece is reminiscent of a torch.
