Description
This sculptural four-legged floor lamp was designed by Adrien Audoux & Frida Minet. It was produced in France in the 1950s.
The lamp is handcrafted entirely from braided and twisted rope, reflecting the duo’s focus on natural materials and organic forms. A central twisted rope stem rises from a four-legged tripod base, each leg carefully shaped and wrapped. The result is a light, sculptural piece with a simple architectural presence. The slightly tapered drum shade has been renewed in a Dedar nubbed plain weave, woven in linen and cotton, in a soft ivory white color.
The lamp is in very good condition, the rope with a natural and even patina. Renewed shade. Renewed 220V wiring and a new E26/E27 bulb fitting.
Specified dimensions:
Total height including lamp shade: 154 cm / 60.63 in
Height excluding lamp shade: 128.5 cm / 50.59 in
Diameter of the shade: 45.5 cm / 17.91 in
Dimensions of the base: 50 x 48 cm / 19.69 x 18.90 in -
