Description
Hand carved French volcanic Luberon limestone lamp with a Minimalist beton-brut architectural form. By Vallauris artist Albert Tormos, made circa 1970s. Tormos also worked in St Tropez during the period. The square base holds the single bulb and is a separate part attached by a resin glue. The holes or windows into the light are 4.25" round. The square base is 5.5" H x 4" W x 4" D. The overall size is 8" diameter x 12" height. Signed on the back. One single light bulb source in the interior. Rewired for USA

Pavilion is the collective vision of Deborah Colman and Neil Kraus, both graduates of the master of fine arts program at the Art Institute of Chicago.
