Antique Gilt Bronze and Patinated Metal 19th Century French Chandelier
French, late 19th Century
Height 83cm, diameter 60cm
Designed in the elegant French Empire style, this chandelier is crafted from gilt bronze and brown patinated metal. The bowl-form body of the chandelier is mounted with gilt bronze swans around the rim of the top, which sit in between the nine lights that surround the bowl. At the bottom of the bowl is a gilt bronze finial. Suspended from three gilt bronze chains, the chandelier also features an upper patinated metal section, decorated with ornate gilt bronze mounts to create a corona-like design. - More Information
