A beautiful table lamp made from wrought iron, designed by Antti Hakkaraien, and manufactured by his company Taidetakomo A. Hakkarainen in the 1930s.
The table lamp is in great condition with a browinsh/greenish patina. The lamp shade has been of course reupholstered (by hand) to suit current living standards and in the finest of fabric/silk.

Antti Hakkarainen was a master metal worker and designer and his prominent company Taidetakomo A. Hakkarainen was one of the main competitors to Taito, later Idman and Orno, especially in domestic lighting although they did a few public projects. The company had a range of top Finnish designers working and commissioning lamps and other furniture there. -
