Description
Arne Jacobsen 'AJ Eklipta' Wall or Ceiling Light for Louis Poulsen.
The AJ Eklipta was designed by Arne Jacobsen for Louis Poulsen in 1959 for Rødovre Town Hall for indoor and and outdoor use. Originally offered in two sizes and now expanded to three for versatility, today the 'AJ Eklipta' is used worldwide, in a variety of home and commercial architectural contexts, from powder rooms to concert halls. Executed in three-layer hand-blown opal glass, the fixture emits soft, uniform light. The shade's transparent edge creates a decorative halo of light around the fixture.
