Description
A vintage wrought iron and glass hanging lantern with a rectangular box iron frame topped by bold ornate iron scrolls and a decorative iron flourish transition into the hanging rod. Colored jewel-tone stained glass panels set in leaded glass lites in a tulip pattern on each of the four sides with shades of emerald green, amber, cobalt blue, and clear rippled glass creating a luminous effect when lit. One side an operable door. The overall aesthetic blends Arts & Crafts and Spanish Revival influences, making it a striking accent for an entryway, stair hall, or covered porch. England, circa 1900.
