ASEA produced models are pieces of Swedish lighting history. ASEA (before 1977 Allmänna Svenska Elektriska Aktiebolaget), was a Swedish electrotechnical company headquartered in Västerås. It was founded in 1883 and was, until 1987, the city's largest industrial company. The historic company has had a decisive impact on how the Swedish electrotechnical industry has developed, but also on design history. Some models - like the “Viktoria” - are preserved in museums, and their technical prowess can be also observed in their other pieces - such as this “741148” floor lamp pair.

Condition:
In good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use. The items have recently been reconditioned and rewired. The shades are a later replacement. The items are not identical. Minor scratches on the brass. The leather is patinated. Due to the nature and age of the materials, the items may have marks and discolouration. These lamps are compatible with an E26 / E27 (standard) fitting. All lighting can be converted for US usage.
