Beautiful Scandinavian wall sconce with a large Beech backplate & stem, topped with an oversized natural cork lampshade - so cool! Easily plugs into a socket, or have it hardwired if you prefer a cordless look. Classic Swedish design of the late mid-century. Missing the original hardware so I added the brass half-rounds to cover the screw holes.

Bergboms was founded in 1940, as a Swedish lighting manufacturer known for its sleek, modernist designs. The company produced a wide range of lighting crafted from natural materials including wood, brass & ceramics. While many designs (such as this one) remain unattributed, standout pieces include Aldo Londi's ceramic table lamps, and Greta Magnusson Grossman’s iconic 1947 Grasshopper Lamp which is still in production today.
