Description
This ceramic table lamp channels the sculptural character of mid-century Italian studio design into a compact, architectural form. The tapering base is finished in a deeply textured matte charcoal glaze, rising to a vivid red glazed collar that introduces a sharp chromatic accent. The contrast between the striated, almost volcanic surface and the glossy upper element gives the piece a strong tactile and visual presence. Its silhouette is clean and totemic, balancing expressive handmade ceramic work with a restrained modern profile. Even unlit, the lamp reads as a sculptural object, with the red glazed element acting as a focal point against the darker body. The height was measured from the bottom edge to the top of the lamp socket. Vintage condition with wear consistent with age; light surface wear, minor irregularities to glaze and ceramic consistent with handmade production. Shade is shown for presentation. If you’re interested in a specific shade or would like something similar, feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to make you an offer.
Please note: Lamp should be fitted professionally in accordance to local requirements.
