Description
French Mid-Century Cast Brass Frond Table Lamp by Charles & Fils, circa 1960
An exceptional example of French mid-century lighting design, this sculptural brass table lamp by Charles & Fils embodies a refined organic aesthetic with timeless appeal. The base is cast in an elegant composition of layered palm fronds in varying sizes, creating a rhythmic, almost botanical silhouette with a subtle Art Deco echo.
Retaining its original matching brass shade, the lamp is newly rewired and ready for contemporary use. The warm, nuanced patina developed over decades enhances the visual depth and tactile richness of the brass, making this piece as alluring by day as it is by lamplight. New re-wiring has been made for improvements to lighting. No other modifications have been made. This table lamp is a valuable piece to add to your décor. It is truly more beautiful in person, and unique in its carved design.
A true collector’s item for those who appreciate the artistry and integrity of French modernism.
