Designed by Berlin luminary Daniel Becker and handmade to order using modern and mid-century manufacturing techniques, the Emily Series won the prestigious German Design Award 2019. The high quality sheet steel shades are cut, bent, formed, welded and sanded by hand in a complex process to build natural, organic shapes before they are painted semi-matte white and fitted with opaline PMMA diffusers. Then they are arranged in a mobile like fashion around a sculptural frame of waxed oak timber. This new 'Vertikal' version of Becker's iconic design is better fitted for vertical spaces such as staircases, where a long and narrow installation is needed.

Price per item. Shades available in glossy black (RAL 9005) as well as a semi-matte finish in anthracite (RAL 7021) or white (RAL 9003). Frame available in choice of natural or black oak.
