Chrome-plated steel and fluorescent tube.
An iconic modernist floor lamp designed by Eileen Gray and manufactured by ClassiCon. Reduced to its essential elements, the design features a vertical fluorescent tube held within a streamlined chrome-plated steel structure and supported by a circular base.
The lamp’s restrained geometry and luminous vertical form exemplify Gray’s innovative approach to functional modern design. Elegant whether illuminated or unlit, it works equally well as an architectural light source or sculptural accent.
Condition: Minor scratches consistent with age and use. In good working order. -
