Enzo Mari for Artemide "Alfiere" Adjustable Floor Lamp, Italy, 1985
Designed by renowned Italian designer Enzo Mari for Artemide, the Alfiere floor lamp is an iconic example of postmodern Italian lighting that embodies Mari's, industrially honest design. geometric simplicity with exceptional versatility, one of Artemide's most distinctive lighting designs.
powder-coated steel, chrome-plated steel, brushed aluminum, and molded plastic, features a slender adjustable stem mounted on a compact weighted base and topped by a highly maneuverable directional reflector. Its engineered design allows for remarkable flexibility, making it equally suitable as a reading lamp, task light, or architectural accent piece.
The height-adjustable stem extends from approximately 60 inches to 86 inches , rotating freely at the base. The brushed aluminum shade swivels horizontally and vertically, providing precise directional illumination. A molded methacrylate joint at the head subtly diffuses light, creating a soft ambient glow in addition to focused task lighting.

* ConditionVery good original vintage condition. Presents with light wear consistent with age and use, including minor surface marks and patina. Chrome, painted surfaces, and aluminum components remain well preserved. All adjustment points function properly, and the lamp retains its original manufacturer's markings.
