1950s Jo Hammerborg 'Saturn' brass & black pendant for Fog & Mørup. A Minimalist Danish modern design Classic executed in brass and black enameled metal. Body of lamp measures approximately 9.5 inches in height.

Fog and Mørup was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Denmark during the midcentury era, with Hammerborg as their superstar. His designs have been long sought after by collectors worldwide.

Professionally modified for US electrical with new medium base socket, black cord and custom period style brass backplate with brass hardware for mounting over a standard American j-box. Accommodates a single 100W equivalent standard medium base LED bulb (lower with incandescent). Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate. Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, bends and wear noted only for accuracy.
