Description
Well sized wallight designed by Fred Brouard, France. The polished bronze decorative detail sits on top of a bronzed metal backplate. This rare wallight is a statement piece both sculptural and useful. Fred Brouard is known for his organic sculptural coffee tables but it is rarer to find a wallight of this scale. Signed and numbered 2/50 examples. We also have another example available.
Fred Brouard's work confirmed how versatile he was as a sculptor, indeed in 1986 he had an exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris. His work can be found in the collection of the National Fund for Contemporary Art in France as well as private collections.
