Description
Rare early Model Modernist floor lamp in distressed lacquered metal with Perspex shade by Gae Aulenti for Poltronova. This is an early Model example of 'Locus Solus' which is of a very heavy construction. Later models do not have the same weight or finish.

Gae Aulenti was a prolific female Italian architect, whose work spans Industrial and exhibition design, furniture, graphics, stage design, lighting and interior design.
