An exceptional pair of Louis XV period wall sconces, made of gilt bronze that has been sculpted into the most elegant acanthus forms. Designed to mirror each other, each light uses two candle arms set at different heights, illuminated by candelabra base bulbs. The unfurling leaves create dynamic, implied movement in their gentle curls (not a right-angle to be found) that come alive by shadow & light.
