Rare 1960s G.C.M.E. Metal & Textured Glass Flush Mount. Executed in white painted metal with pressed textured glass diffuser. A highly functional and sculptural flush mount of attractive scale and incomparable refinement, highly characteristic of Italian design of the midcentury era. Unmarked.

G.C.M.E. was an Italian lighting manufacturer active during the mid-20th century. Based in Pistoia, Tuscany, the company produced a range of lighting fixtures characterized by innovative designs and quality craftsmanship. Their rare designs have become increasingly sought after by discerning collectors.

Each lamp accommodates 2x 60w max equivalent standard medium base (e26) LED bulbs (LED only, not included). Professionally rewired for US electrical and for mounting over standard US j-box.
