Description
Rare Swedish art deco unique ceramic studio lamp by Gertrud Lonegren. Her pieces are known for strongly textured surfaces combined with subtle use of glazes. Lamp has been rewired with hand patinated and brass double cluster and 2 standard socket. Lonegren studied in Vienna and Stockholm during the 1920's, she worked at Upsala-Ekeby in the 1930's before creating a limited number of studio pieces at Rorstrand between 1937-42.
