Description
Gino Sarfatti model no. 2065 ceiling lamp in black and white. Designed in 1950, this is an authorized 2017 Astep/Flos re-edition by Alessandro Sarfatti, grandson of Gino Sarfatti, who applies his grandfather's scrupulous attention to detail and materials to offer a tightly curated selection of iconic lighting originally produced by Arteluce. Professionally rewired for US electrical. Unused in original factory box.
This version of the Model 2065 consists of a diffuser made of one opalescent lower Perspex saucer coupled with a black-painted upper metal saucer, suspended from the ceiling with a black-painted aluminum canopy and black or white cord. This leaves the lower diffuser as the only light source, creating a more intimate light space and a strong, graphic expression. The simplicity of Gino Sarfatti’s elliptical design and the lightness of the materials make for a seemingly weightless chandelier. An iconic example of Sarfatti's innovative and experimental approach.
Price is per item. Also available in an all white perspex diffuser option in a separate listing.
In-stock lead time 3-4 weeks. Out of stock up to 10 weeks or more. Inventory availability subject to change. For time sensitive orders, please inquire prior to purchasing.
