Description
A mid century Italian floorlamp by Goffredo Reggiani. Chrome stand with white glass shade.
Goffredo Reggiani (1926–2011) was an Italian lighting designer and entrepreneur best known as the founder of Reggiani Illuminazione, one of Italy’s most influential postwar lighting manufacturers. Active from the 1950s onward, Reggiani played a key role in shaping modern Italian lighting through a combination of rigorous engineering, refined industrial design, and close collaboration with architects and designers. His work emphasized modular systems, technical precision, and clean, rational forms, aligning closely with the principles of Italian modernism. Under his direction, Reggiani Illuminazione became internationally recognized for innovative architectural and interior lighting solutions, supplying both residential and large-scale public projects. -
