Chic Mid-Century Modern Floor Lamp produced in Sweden by Hans Bergstrom for Atelie Lyktan, 'Giraffen'
Having an angled stand with sharp lines in a matte black finish and an elongated shade, this floor lamp was inspired by a giraffee and after Greta Grossman, who designed the original Grashoppa floor lamp in the 1940s.
Other Scandinavian designers of the period include Finn Juhl, Kaare Klint, Borge Mogensen, Poul Kjærholm, Hans Wegner, Arne Vodder, Verner Panton, Kai Kristiansen, Arne Jacobsen.
