Description
This striking floor lamp was designed by Henrik Blomqvist and produced by the Swedish manufacturer Stilarmatur Tranås in the 1960s. The lamp is marked with the manufacturers label on the fitting.
The base is crafted entirely from brass, which has developed a beautiful, natural patina over time. A substantial brass sphere forms the centerpiece of the lamp's distinctive design. Complementing this, the circular foot and tubular brass stem complete the elegant structure. The cylindrical shade has been newly replaced with a linen-textured fabric in an ivory hue.
The lamp is in good, vintage condition. The brass with a natural patina and a few minor signs of wear consistent with age and use, including light scratches and minor dents. The shade has been renewed. Currently with European 220V wiring and plug.
