HERVE WAHLEN (b.1957)

A limited edition of magical sculpted sconces by French sculptor and master metal artist Hervé Wahlen. The beautifully worked, hand-hammered copper forms are individually oxidized on the outer shell. The inner surface is lined with softly luminous hand-applied 23K gold leaf to reflect the hidden light source and create a warmly glowing illumination. All aspects of these works are entirely created by the artist's hand; as a result each sconce is unique.
