Italian Murano Scavo blue frosted glass table lamp. Circa 1970s.

Designed to resemble excavated Roman urns. Made using the Scavo glass technique, distinguished by a rough, matte dusty opaque exterior surface which contrasts with the glossy interior. The overall effect is dramatic. Exudes a soft diffused light.
