Description
A pair of Italian sculptural table lamps by Italiana Luce manufactured in Italy, circa 1980s.
The black lacquered base plates are slightly trapezoid. and support a curved black lacquered metal loop.
The cast plastic sockets slides up and down and rotates supporting lampshades of distinctive design that wrap around itself and are covered with a fine structured fabric in a beige tone in original and excellent condition.
The lights can be adjusted in height and the socket covers unscrew to release the shades for easy and safe shipping.
The on and off switches, the plugs and the sockets are Italian.
The lamps takes a medium or standard screw base bulb or LED.
The bases are unmarked and in very good vintage condition from the 1980s.
I have not been able to find this lamp design in this scale.
There are examples of a similar floor lamp with exactly the same base design with a chromed rod support of the same profile but not black lacquered rod as these lamp have.
The rotating wrap around paper shades are identical to the ones shown on the floor lamps.
The lamps are in excellent vintage condition. -
