Description
1960s Mauri Almari Opaline glass and white metal 'AE 88' ceiling lamp for Itsu. Produced in Finland in the 1960s and in the manner of Paavo Tynell. A rare and elegant ceiling lamp executed in thick opaline glass and metal. Retains original manufacturer's stamp.
Price is per item. Two lamps available.
Rewired for US electrical. Accommodates a single 75w equivalent LED medium base bulb (lower with incandescent). Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.
Ref literature: "Itsu Valaisimia" lighting catalogue circa 1965, pp. 32-33.
Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, marks, patina and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. Please note only one representative lamp is featured in the listing photos, but both lamps in comparable good condition and present well as a pair. -
