1950s Mauri Almari brass table lamp for Idman Oy.

A rare and elegant lamp executed in brass. A contemporary of Paavo Tynell, Almari's refined work has made him an increasingly valued Finnish designer in recent years by collectors in the know.

Professionally rewired with a new ceramic socket that can accommodate a single 40w max equivalent LED candelabra base bulb. Bulb not included. On/off switch on base professionally tested. 7 feet of black twist cloth cord and period-style US wall plug. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing available from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee.

Some scuffs, dings and patina as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. Small crack on base (see photo).
