Description
This large wall sconce was manufactured by Kalmar in Austria during the 1960s. The fixture features a substantial, cuboid-shaped diffuser made from a single piece of thick, textured glass designed to mimic ice. This textured surface beautifully disperses light from four internal bulbs in all directions, creating unique patterns and a soft ambient glow. The piece is a hallmark of Kalmar’s mid-century glasswork, balancing a clean geometric form with a rugged, organic material finish.

Materials:	A single, large hand-cast "ice" glass diffuser with a heavy, organic texture mounted on a white-lacquered metal wall frame.
Condition:	Good. The glass is in excellent condition. The internal metal frame shows surface oxidation and wear consistent with age, which is entirely concealed when the glass diffuser is in place.
