Description
Joe Colombo 'Fresnel' Glass and Metal Indoor/Outdoor Wall Lamp for Oluce.
Executed in lacquered or chrome-plated aluminum and thick glass, this is one of the most refined Minimalist Italian designs of the midcentury and an icon for Colombo. Originally designed in 1966, this authorized re-edition is still made by Oluce in Italy using many of the original manufacturing techniques with scrupulous attention to detail, materials and craftsmanship.
'Fresnel' is a lamp that was created to be one of those perfect design objects. The metal body – available in white, black, grey, or chrome-plated metal version – completes the structure. The sandblasted grooved lens-like glass diffuser creates a soft glow when lit. Can be installed on walls or ceilings indoors or out.
Price is per item. Available in unlimited quantities with backplate in chromed aluminum or in lacquered black or white. Several on hand in each finish in our Los Angeles warehouse available for immediate shipment or local pickup.
Current lead time 1-3 days. Can take 3-4 weeks. Lead times are subject to change without notice. Please inquire for current lead times prior to placing time-sensitive or larger orders.
Wired for US. Each lamp accommodates 1x maximum 40W equivalent E12 candelabra LED bulb (bulb not included). Ships with backplate designed to accommodate US installation. UL Listed.
NOTE: Integrated LED version (2700K, 500 lumens, CRI > 85) also available for additional cost. The Fresnel also comes in a bollard version. Please inquire for more information. -
