Kalmar Dornstab floor lamp, Austria, 1940s

Description
A beautiful Dornstab (‘thorn stick’) floor lamp, designed in 1947 by J.T. Kalmar. It is made out of a wooden, saber shaped stem with a curved brass base and fabric shade. The height of the shade is adjustable to three different positions on the stem.
Measurements stated are of the lamp without a shade. -
