Mid-Century Modern Four-Tier Crystal & Polished Chrome Chandelier by Kinkeldey

Description
This brilliant chandelier was realized by the illustrious German lighting studio, Kinkeldey, circa 1960. It features four circular tiers of descending diameter composed of a wealth of cut crystal shades resembling bands of emerald cut diamonds set in platinum. Fitted with ten Edison based bulbs, the fixture offers a staggering 1000 watts of light that refracts beautifully through the cut crystal. The fixture is suspended from the ceiling via a cylindrical rod that connects to a circular canopy- both in polished chrome. With its clean lines and impeccable construction, this chandelier is as exquisite as it is timeless, serving as a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit.
