    A large pair of Windsor style copper street lanterns supported on sophisticated spiral twist wall brackets, the lanterns in the style of William Sugg or Foster & Pullen.

    This pair of lanterns each consist of a finial to the top below with tented roof leading down to decorative finials to each corner.

    The square tapering body with glazed sides and opening door is supported on a wrought iron four-pronged cradle, all supported on sophisticated spiral twist wall bracket.

    This pair of street lanterns have previously been converted from gas to electricity, having recently been rewired and are in working order.

    The 1898 Windsor lantern by William Sugg was the first lantern specifically used for use with gas and were used as street lights in towns and cities.

    This pair of lanterns are in good, restored condition and can be fitted into a property either internally or externally by a professional electrician.
