Description
A rare and stunning flush mount by Lisa Johansson-Papé for Orno. This model features a circular beige opaline glass and a removable decorative brass rim. The fixture has three light sources, is in its original condition and stamped ORNO to the inside.

With a diameter around 55cm, and a beautiful brass leaf decorative touch, the lamp is quite noticeable and carries a refined statement in any interior.

Lisa Johansson-Pape´ was one of the most important light designers in the world and one of the most influential designers in Finland. After designing furnitures for Stockmann in the 1930s, she moved to lighting designs also for the Stockmann owned company Orno in the 1940s. Some of her lamp designs are still being manufactured today by Innojoki and Keraplast.

Lisa won a number of awards for her lighting designs including a gold medal at the 1954 Milan Triennale
