This striking and well balanced Pair of Mid-Century Modernist Umber Glazed Ceramic Table Lamps by Lotte and Gunnar Bostlund originates from Denmark, Circa 1960. These lamps feature a body in carefully glazed umber ceramic with subtle variation in the surface and gentle curvature leading up towards the neck and down to the base. The custom striated twine shades have lovely horizontal movement and accent the materiality and color of the body. An excellent example of the materials and design characteristics of Mid-Century Modernism, this pair will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. Each Lamp accommodates one Edison Based Bulb offering 100 watts of light.
