Description
Vilhelm Lauritzen VL45 'Radiohus' pendants for Louis Poulsen. Executed in hand blown glossy white opal glass, brushed brass pendant tube, white metal canopy and white cord. This listing is for the large size pendants. Also available in small 12.9 in. H x 9.8 in. D size. Price is per item. Uses one standard 100w maximum bulb. UL rated. Please note it can take 4-6 weeks if not in stock. The Radiohus pendant was originally designed in the 1930s by Vilhelm Lauritzen in partnership with Louis Poulsen for the construction of the Radiohuset building on Frederiksberg, Copenhagen, which is now home to the Royal Danish Academy of Music. It was originally used for general illumination in many parts of the Radiohuset building. And with its powerful downwards light combined with gentler illumination via the opal glass, which generate softer tones in the room, it is simply ideal for illuminating both everyday objects and more decorative items. In-stock lead time 2-3 weeks. Out of stock up to 8 weeks or more. Inventory availability subject to change.
