Description
This stunning pair of Mid-Century Modern table lamps were realized in Italy, circa 1970 by Luciano Frigerio . They feature volumetric rectangular bodies with striated surfaces resembling close up vantages of feathers or alternately gathered theatre curtains- both references suggesting timeless elegance, which is appropriate to describe these pieces. Rendered in brushed brass, the skeins of these table lamps offer an abundance of curvilinear striations in relief, imbuing them with a subtle yet undeniable dynamism. With their refined color palate and clean modernist lines, these lamps would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent vintage condition. The lamps come fitted with custom shades.
