1960s Bent Karlby Model 23.3010 Adjustable Plug-in Wall Lamp for Lyfa
A delightful wall light executed in black lacquered metal with a mount that allows the shade to pivot up or down to direct light. This rare and elegant Danish modern design with its sculptural form and whimsical touches are characteristic of the finest work of Bent Karlby. Bent Karlby was one of the most innovative Danish modern lighting designers of the midcentury era. "Lyfa" label on backplate.
Price per item. Two lamps available.
Professionally rewired for US electrical. Each lamp accommodates a max 60w equivalent candelabra base bulb. LED only. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Comes with 7 feet of period-style white cord with on/off switch 14 inches from base of the lamp.
Wear consistent with age and use. Some age-appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, patina, and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. Only one representative lamp shown in images; both are in similar good vintage condition and present well as a set. Additional images upon request. -
