Description
This striking floor or tall table lamp was produced by Möllers Armatur in Eskilstuna, Sweden, in the 1960s. The lamp is marked with the manufacturer’s initials, MAE, on the underside of the base. Thanks to its proportions, the lamp works beautifully as a floor lamp or as a tall table lamp, especially when placed on a low table or pedestal.
The design is defined by a slightly raised, rounded square base, topped with five similarly shaped, stacked elements. All parts are crafted from solid teak, showcasing a rich, warm grain that adds to the lamp’s sculptural appeal.
The tall, tapered lampshade has been newly replaced with one in ivory, linen-textured fabric, creating a pleasing contrast with the warmth of the wood.
It is in very good original condition, with only minor signs of wear to the wood. The lampshade is renewed. Currently wired with 220V European wiring, with a standard E26/E27 bulb fitting.
Specified Dimensions: Total height including shade: 128 cm / 50.4 in Height of the base only, excluding shade: 78 cm / 30.7 in Diameter of the shade: 30 cm / 11.8 in Dimensions of the base: 17 x 17 cm / 6.7 x 6.7 in -
