Brass Floor Lamp with Tripod Base by Maison Arlus (Attr.), France 20th Century

Maison Arlus, a French lighting design company was founded in the early 20th century by Robert and Jean Arlus. The company quickly gained recognition for its innovative and stylish lighting fixtures, which were characterised by their use of high-quality materials and their focus on functionality. This elegant floor lamp is attributed to the company.

Instead of excessive ornamentation or loud features, French mid-century modern designers favoured quality materials and artistic expressions in their creations. This floor lamp has an interesting structure with unique elements that assure visual points of interest from every angle.
