Pair, French Modern Neoclassical Brass Faux Bamboo Floor Lamps by Maison Bagues
-
Description
Rare, Elegant and Timeless Pair of French Mid-Century Modern Neoclassical Faux Bamboo Floor Lamps in solid brass by Maison Bagues, Paris. The brass is the highest quality and the patina is natural and derived over time. The form is exquisite using a modern approach to the faux bamboo motif. Pairs of parallel lines symbolize the idea of faux bamboo. This lifts the pieces to the poetic realm. In addition, the floor lamps have the traditional Bagues tripod base but this model offers a rare design with each leg and foot angled inward. The lamps have been rewired using French silk cord and are outfitted with double cluster Edison sockets to achieve maximum functionality. Shades shown in the photos are included. The diameter of the lamp bases are 14.25.
Maison Bagues and Maison Jansen are companies that symbolized the elegance and timeless quality of French design. -
