1950s Perforated Metal & Opaline Glass Pendant Attributed to Mathieu Matégot
Executed in perforated painted metal, opaline glass, and brass. A sculptural pendant that embodies lyrical side of midcentury French design, as exemplified by such luminaries as Pierre Guariche, Jacques Biny and Mathieu Mategot. Unmarked.
One lamp available.
Accommodates 1x US medium base max 75w equivalent LED bulb. LED only, bulb not included. Professionally rewired with black cloth cord and a custom period-styled canopy for mounting over a standard American J-box. Maximum drop of 60 inches. Not UL listed but recommended UL listing possible by authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for additional fee.
