Description
A beautiful pair of "drop" table lamps in full brass paired with wooden slate shades. The wooden slates material is quite similar to rattan. These lamps were designed by Mauri Almari and manufactured by Idman. This model 61046, is the larger version of the more common 61033 smaller one. In our opinion these shades for this model lamp are much better than fabric shades.
Mauri Almari (1907-1973) was a respected Finnish lighting designer at the Idman factory alongside Paavo Tynell. The two worked closely together and even had similar styles. -
