Description
Brass and glass chandelier, engineered by Max Ingrand, model 2259/2, manufactured by Fontana Arte during the 1960s.
This overhead luminaire commands attention with its intricate engineering and dramatic design. Staying true to Max Ingrand's technical prowess, glass takes center stage as the primary structural material. The chandelier comprises two diffusers, meticulously crafted from crystal elements, strategically positioned to optimize light dispersion. The resulting illumination, filtered through the precisely textured crystal surfaces, creates a visually immersive ambiance.
The glass components undergo expert grinding and partial frosting, especially within the concave section designed to house the light source. Fontana Arte, esteemed for its mastery in glass manipulation, rigorously oversees the manufacturing process to ensure quality. Max Ingrand's tenure as creative director leaves an enduring legacy evident in the precision and complexity of this fixture.
Presented in fully operational condition, this luminaire retains its original pristine state, seamlessly integrating functionality with timeless design.
