Description
Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte rare pair of large model 1963 sconces, Italy, circa 1960. These exquisite sconces consist of brass structures which hold opaline glass diffusers below and above. This model exudes an elegance and simplicity in its modern sophistication and avant-garde style which were hallmarks of postwar Fontana Arte works under the artistic leadership of Max Ingrand.
